We would like to invite you to participate in this exciting event for our students.  We are in need of community members who would be willing to judge student performances at FBLA Region 3 Competition. If you are available, please email Melinda Ditzen at maditze@carrollk12.orgI have included the details below:

 Maryland FBLA Region 3 Competitions

Date: January 15th, 2020 (Snow date Jan 23rd)

Time: 2:30pm –6:00pm (Dinner will be provided) 

OverviewFBLA is a national Career and Technology Student Organization with close to a quarter of a million high school members. Our organization strives to promote leadership and business education in today's high school students. Our Region 3 Leadership Conference is the first event for members competing in events that showcase a variety of performance-based competitive events are on a variety of topics including public speaking, business presentation, impromptu speaking, sales presentation, and much more!

Events that will be judged: 
You may request specific events, and we can try and place you in those areas if you have expertise or a strong preference. You will receive the judging rubric and event guidelines, plus you won’t be alone, so it’s actually very interesting and helpful! The following is a list of potential events:

 What does the afternoon look like? You will be judging one to three events. Each event has specific guidelines, which you will be provided with, and you will be working with at least one other person, possibly two. Dinner is provided. You would need to arrive at 2:30pm to meet your fellow judges and familiarize yourselves to the event guidelines, and would be finished between 5:00 and 6:00pm. You may stay for dinner afterward.
