  • On Thursday, October 17th, an early dismissal day for students, FSK staff participated in a pumpkin carving team building activity. They were given limited supplies and randomly place din teams. Their carved pumpkins were then placed on display in the cafeteria for two days, during which Key students used their spare change to vote for their favorite pumpkin. The winning pumpkin raised $15.02, with a total of $64.67 being raised in change by students. This money will be donated to FSK NHS’ Secret Santa charity, which supports families in need during the holiday season.

  • The FSK Drama Department will present their fall production of The Crucible on Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd at 7pm. The play, penned by Arthur Miller, is a historically accurate dramatization of the mass hysteria and accusations of witchcraft, many of which eventually led to trials (popularly known as the Salem Witch Trials) and the execution of 19 suspected witches, which occurred in Salem Massachusetts from February of 1692 to May of 1693.

The play is directed by Ms. Roberta Gore with the aid of assistant director Trey Bates, a senior at Key. Tickets, which will be sold at the door, will be $6.00 for students and children and $8.00 for adults and senior citizens.
