We're currently seeking full-time and part-time Direct Support Professionals. We have various scheduling options and shifts available; from early mornings, day hours, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Direct Support Professional's (DSP's) work with individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to facilitate skill building activities, foster meaningful community connections, aide with ADL's & personal care, and supporting people to reach their personalized goals.

The ideal applicant would be a self-starter, flexible and willing to learn and grow. Experience is appreciated but not a requirement. We are willing to train the right person!

Job Duties include; but not limited to:

  • Provide person centered support to individuals daily as they work on individualized goals.
  • Actively work with individuals to maintain and improve levels of skill and/or independence.
  • Encourage positive attitudes and behaviors that enhance community inclusion, contribution and/or employment.
  • Community inclusion and Discovery.
  • Planning and execution of daily schedules.
  • Working on daily life skills and goals.
  • ADL's/Personal Care.
  • Maintaining adequate records and documenting.
  • Following and planning IP's and Goals.

**We are also seeking team members with transportation experience or someone comfortable driving a bus or van! (Willing to train*)**

Various different scheduling options available, Several Examples of open shifts include:

  • M-F, 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., 1 1/2 hr shifts, working in our transportation department, then 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., 6 hour shifts, working in day services.
  • M-F, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., 6 hour shifts, working in day services
  • M,W,F or Tue,Thur, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., 6 hour shifts, working in day services.
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., 6 hours per day, working in our day services department.
  • Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 9 a.m., & 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., 3 hr shifts, working in our transportation department.
  • Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 5:00 p.m., 2 1/2 hr shifts, working in our transportation department.
  • Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m., 2 1/2 hr shifts, working in our transportation department.
  • Various additional hours in Day services and Personal Supports, early evening shifts, every other weekend and reoccurring weekend shifts. *Additional shift times can vary, early evening and weekend shifts available. *Inquire within for scheduling options.

Once a schedule is established, it will be a reoccurring schedule weekly, with some flexibility to meet the needs of the company. (Opportunity to flex hours or pick up additional hours as needed.)

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old (must be 21 years of age or older to operate company buses).
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in the developmental disabilities field preferred but not required.
  • Must have clean driving and criminal history (no more than 2 points in 2 years).
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

Our main location is 115 Stoner Avenue, Westminster MD, 21157.

Change is supporting individuals all throughout Carroll County, extending to Howard and Frederick Counties as well. While we are still supporting individuals here at our main location, we also have sevral shifts supporting individuals out in their communities.
