Westminster, MD
05/15/2020 02:27 PM

Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS) announces a new Virtual Walk-in Service! Our 24-hour hotline remains available, but it can be difficult to find the privacy to make a phone call during stay-at-home conditions. During certain hours beginning next week, an advocate will be available via chat or video - no appointment needed! To access, follow this link: https://rapecrisiscc.doxy.me/crisisservices and one of our advocates will connect with you. This free and confidential service is offered to survivors of sexual violence of any kind, aged 12 and older, and their non-offending significant others and/or caregivers.

Those accessing this service should be aware that there may be risks associated with using any digital or electronic platform if someone is monitoring your internet access or devices. Your advocate should be able to explain the risks of each platform to you and allow you to decide whether to move forward.

For the week of May 18-22, this service will be available at the times listed below. Updated schedules and information will be posted each week on our Facebook page: RCIS of Carroll County.

Tuesday, May 19, 11AM - 2PM

Wednesday, May 20, 5PM - 7PM

Thursday, May 21, 7PM - 10PM

Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS) is a private, non-profit agency serving Carroll County, Maryland, since 1978.  RCIS provides free counseling and support services to victims of sexual violence and their families.
