Community Foundation Teams with Kahlert Foundation

 Community Foundation of Carroll County today announced it has been gifted with a $25,000 grant by The Kahlert Foundation, specifically for distribution to programs under its 501c3 status that are engaged in pandemic relief projects. Community Foundation of Carroll County is distributing this gift as (25) individual $1,000 grants to programs engaged in Coronavirus-related relief projects.

“We are grateful to the Kahlert Foundation for helping fund the work of our clients in the midst of these turbulent times. On behalf of the entire Community Foundation of Carroll County family, and those who are receiving the benefits of their work, I send our heartfelt thanks to the Kahlert Foundation,” said Jacie Mathias, director of Community Foundation of Carroll County.

The grant recipients must be a program of Community Foundation of Carroll County, and are required to submit an application describing the work they are doing to provide relief during the pandemic. There is no deadline for application submission, however, when the grants have all been awarded application submission will be closed.

As of today, 12 grants have been awarded to Community Foundation clients.

Grant recipients are required to submit a report of the use of the award describing how the money was used and how many people were impacted.
