Please join us for the final night and screening of the first Media Production Specialist program.

The Community Media Center (CMC) partnered with Continuing Education and Training at Carroll Community College (CCC) to create a certificate training program for careers in digital media production.  CCC established the program, which started in May, and provided students with the opportunity to learn on CMC’s state-of-the-art equipment to prepare, edit and produce media content. Sessions included classroom and hands-on instruction in audio production, cameras, mixers, lighting and editing software. Students also benefitted by becoming eligible to use CMC’s equipment, facilities and services for a year. Upon successful completion students will receive a Workforce Training Certificate as a Media Production Specialist from Carroll Community College.

On Friday, September 22nd, students from the course will present their final multi-media projects and be will available to answer questions about the course and their productions. Instructors and CMC staff will also be on hand to answer questions, conduct tours of the media facility and provide additional information about the Community Media Center.
