RCIS of Carroll County Announces “Jane Doe” Training

Rape Crisis Intervention Service of Carroll County (RCIS) will be hosting a free training presented by Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MCASA) on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:00am. The training will be held at Shauck Auditorium at Carroll Hospital, 291 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD. The training will focus on the history, importance, and statewide best practices of optional delayed reporting of sexual assault, as known Jane Doe reporting. Breakfast and coffee will be provided.

There is no charge for the training, however all attendees should register at www.tinyurl.com/rcisjanedoe by Monday, August 21, 2017 at 5:00pm. Depending on available space, walk-ins may also attend the training, but are asked to arrive by 8:45 am for a brief registration.
