For nearly 3 decades, CMC staff and volunteers have worked together with Westminster’s American Legion Post #31 to produce the program that features one of the longest-running Memorial Day Parades in the country. The annual event honors the men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation. The parade starts on Pennsylvania Avenue in Westminster and ends on Church Street at the Westminster Cemetery. A CMC television crew will be set up along the parade route on Main Street in downtown Westminster and another crew will be set up in the Westminster Cemetery to cover the ceremony saluting military service men and women.
