The Community Media Center (CMC) is proud to once again be a gold sponsor of the Carroll County 4H & FFA Fair. This year the CMC is basically moving its operations to the Fair for the entire week, and has teamed up with Freedom Broadband and WTTR AM 1470, to for the first time, provide LIVE online coverage of various events.

Freedom Broadband installed the equipment necessary for a temporary wireless network at the Ag Center and is providing the dedicated bandwidth needed for CMC to broadcast live online coverage. CMC staff and volunteers will stream LIVE online coverage, as well as recorded highlights, of the various livestock shows, exhibits, competitions, and entertainment. In addition, the Media Center plans to simulcast many of WTTR’s live interviews with 4H youth, organizers and judges. Coverage can be viewed online at beginning Friday, July 31st.

In addition to staff and volunteers, the CMC has enlisted over a dozen 4H youth to help record coverage at this year’s event. 4H members were trained in basic video production and interviewing techniques and will be roaming the fairgrounds with CMC cameras or their own smartphones to bring viewers a “kids eye view” of the fair.

The public is encouraged to share their videos and photos by visiting the website and clicking the “submit” button on the homepage. All videos from the fair will be posted on a special 4H & FFA Fair page that will be updated daily.

In addition, viewers can stay up-to-date on the latest coverage and view video shorts on CMC’s Facebook page. For regular updates visit Visitors to the site are encouraged to share links with their friends and family.

Coverage of the 4H & FFA Fair will also be broadcast on Carroll County’s Public Access Channel 19. Viewers should check the Channel 19 program schedule at for specific dates and times.
