The Carroll County Business & Employment Resource Center (BERC) is hosting a Spring Job Fair on Tuesday, April 28th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Westminster one-stop workforce center at 224 North Center Street. Employers that are actively recruiting to fill open positions are encouraged to contact Jennifer Maffucci at 410-386-2521 to reserve a spot as space is limited. “Spring is the perfect time to find new employees for seasonal work and to finalize permanent hiring. There is no cost to attend the job fair and typically hundreds of job seekers attend this annual event.” said BERC Manager Denise Rickell.

BERC provides job search assistance to job seekers and also provides applicant assessments that employers may choose based on the job openings and job tasks. At the Spring Job Fair, employers are provided with a recruitment table and assistance in managing applicant flow. Center personnel will be on hand to help answer questions and provide assistance. Employers are asked to provide information in advance about the types and number of positions available.
